Editing Tasks on the Project App
- Navigate to the Timeline section in the left-hand section of the Project app.
- Select the task you would like to edit in the project plan.
Note: This will not work for Kanban projects.
- Click on the details section located in the right-hand side panel.
- Use the inline editing to change the fields to the desired values.

- Click the pencil button located in the top right corner of the side panel.
- Choose the field you want to edit from the pop up modal.
Note: If you are missing a project level field reach out to your Salesforce Administrator.
